Rolex 1675 GMT Master Double Swiss Underline
With an extensive history residing in some very celebrated collections, this Rolex reference 1675 GMT Double Swiss Underline is one of the rarest configurations in existence and in my opinion the most appealing of them all.
Signified by the dual “Swiss” markings at the 6 o’clock and only produced for a narrow serial batch in 1963, this configuration of Double Swiss Underline appeared in both the El Cornino case and also Broad Pointed Crown Guard case with this example in the latter of case styles.
This particular example is highlighted by the breathtaking glossy Double Swiss Underline dial that’s totally free from any blemishes. Stunning original gilt hands compliment the dial perfectly. The unpolished 875,xxx serial “Broad Pointed Crown Guard” case is just incredible – the original beveled edge on this case is extraordinarily pronounced and defined. Quite possibly one of the mostIt is paired with an original Rolex CI expansion bracelet that’s dated 1963.
I’ve followed this watch for many years - behind its tail every step of the way into some of the most admired and important collections. Over the years it has become a well-documented example. Today, we are privileged to be able to have an opportunity to represent this piece and earmark our provenance to this spectacular example.
